'Damarukam' Releases At Rs 20 Cr Deficit

‘Damarukam’ is hitting screens in a few hours. The fate of the film has been in turmoil ever since it’s making for the only reason - over budget and lack of funds at the production house to release it in right time. At last it released today.

But the trade pundits say that the film incurs huge losses though it scores a hit.

The reason is the investment on the film is about Rs 50 Cr and the business happened only for Rs 30 Cr. Thus it’s releasing with Rs 20 Cr budget which means that even though it becomes a big hit and collects Rs 40 Cr which never happened in the history of Nagarjuna’s career,  it incurs about Rs 10 Cr loss.
