Movie Tickets to cost more

Government of Andhra Pradesh had decided to burn hole in the pockets of movie lovers in the state. Yielding to the pressure of theater owners in the state, Government had issued a G.O. regarding the same. The areas coming under the Municipalities, the prices of ticket has been increased from Rs.50 to Rs.60 for A.C.Theatres and Ordinary tickets were hiked from Rs.25 to Rs.30 and in other areas AC theatres tickets were hiked from Rs.30 to Rs.40 and ordinary tickets were hiked from Rs.20 to Rs.25.
The theatres owners throughout the state have been requesting the state government to increase the prices as there could not run the theatres due to increase of various prices otherwise there have to shut down the theatres.
