Vizag city already has one film studio ‘Ramanaidu Studios’ near Beemili, which belongs to producer Dr.K.Ramanaidu. If, Chiranjeevi’s film studio also comes into operation, Vizag will become the next destination for Tollywood film makers, who were upset with frequent attacks by Telangana activists. There are several others from Tollywood have acquired lands in and around Vizag city long time ago foreseeing this place as their next destination for film production activities. Chiranjeevi’s move can be considered as the one step in that direction, which may inspire the rest. Being Tourism minister, he also reveals several plans to promote Vizag and its surrounding areas as a major tourist hub in the state, which further may attract many others of the industry to settle down at Vizag, which is anxiously waiting paving red carpet to them.
