Rambabu (Pawan Kalyan) is blood boiling youth who steams at the scent of injustice. With the help of Ganga (Tamannah), a camera woman, he joins a local news channel and confronts the bad in the society. In the process, he bumps in to an aspiring politician, Rana Babu (Prakash Raj) who is the son of an opposition leader. Rambabu locks horns with Ranababu and the rest of the story is how the good triumphs on evil.
Pawan Kalyan had performed a character with two different shades. One is a humbled youth and the other angle is an emotional angry young man. Emotional characters are not usually his cup of tea but he had improved very well in the movie. He had put considerable effort in dialogue delivery too. Stunts are as usually good and dances are okay. Tamannah looked gorgeous as in every movie. She reportedly made a Tom boy type of character in the movie. She was aggressive and naughty in it. However, her action had gone overboard on few occasions. Prakash Raj, Kota, Nasser are as usual.
Entertainment is the mantra of every Puri Jagannath movie so far. For the first time, Puri had gone beyond it. He had targeted sensitive issues like Corruption, and other problems plaguing the society. The intention is so honest but the execution is not so perfect. The movie seem to be a unison of several scenes in patches and the narration does not seem to be going anywhere in the second half. Puri had come out some good dialogues but left out his trade mark punch dialogues. Shyam K.Naidu’s Cinematography is good. Certain frames are very colorful. Mani Sharma’s songs are already hit and were neatly picturized too. Audience will iss the foreign locales as all the songs were shot on sets. Back ground music is good. SR Sekhar’s scissors should have worked better.
The first half of the movie is good with reasonable entertainment. Ali as Senior to Pawan Kalyan and Brahmi as Bobby, the Publicity incharge of Ranababu managed good laughs. The second half of the movie becomes more serious. Certain scenes in the movie are too good and some gets you bored. Script work should have been better in the second half and the scenes leading to climax Could have been handled better.
